Help Shape Denver’s First Citywide Sidewalk Plan
Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is developing its first Sidewalk Implementation Plan (SIP); a long-term roadmap for building, repairing, and improving sidewalks across the city. The plan will determine where, when, and how Denver completes a safe and connected sidewalk network for all residents.
As part of this effort, DOTI wants your input. Residents are invited to review the new State of the System Report and complete a short public survey available now through mid-March at denvergov.org/SOTS. Your feedback will help DOTI prioritize where sidewalk improvements are most needed and guide investment for years to come.
DOTI will also host two opportunities to learn more and ask questions:
Telephone Town Hall: Wednesday, February 4, 6–7 p.m. — Dial 855-756-7520, Ext. 128993#
Zoom Webinar: Wednesday, February 11, 6–7 p.m. — bit.ly/SIPZoomWebinar
For in-person engagement, community popup events will take place around the city from January through March (locations listed at denvergov.org/SIP).
Sidewalks are essential city infrastructure — connecting people of all ages and abilities to schools, parks, and businesses. By sharing your thoughts, you can help our neighborhood and Denver as a whole create a sidewalk system that supports safe, accessible travel for everyone.
