BETWEEN FRIENDS exists as an experiment in boundless creativity from the brother-sister duo Brandon and Savannah Hudson. Together, they nudge the boundaries of experimental pop through a glitchy, eclectic sonic environment anchored in a musical partnership formed in their earliest childhood. In 2018 they emerged on the internet encapsulating the experience of adolescence over synth-laden bedroom pop. It’s a theme that weaves their discography together, evident on their debut EP we just need some time together, which catapulted them to international acclaim through standout track “affection” amassing over 600 million streams.
In 2021, as a reaction to the confines of lockdown life, they transformed pent-up pandemic energy into i like when you shine!, a futuristic ode to the endangered art form of the mixtape. This was followed by their multimedia EP CUTiE, released in 2022, which saw them create a series of surreal, lo-fi visuals. Shortly after, they embarked on their sold out first tour, which included a performance at the Governor's Ball, and allowed their online community of fans to finally convene in 3D. Now, BETWEEN FRIENDS usher in a new era where the walls of their technicolor fantasy world splinter to reveal their most intimate songwriting to date, grappling with love, longing and heartbreak in the digital age.

Tiana Major9
Tiana Major9 is an East London–born, British Caribbean R&B singer-songwriter now based in Brooklyn, NY, blending future-facing R&B, timeless soul, and jazz-rooted musicianship with unmistakable Caribbean influence. Raised in Newham and shaped by gospel, jazz, and the sounds of D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse, they have amassed over 200 million global streams with a sound that feels both classic and deeply contemporary.
They earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best R&B Song for “Collide” with EARTHGANG (from Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack), and performed the record on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Soul Train Awards, and the Billboard Women in Music Awards. Tiana’s growing list of collaborators includes Stormzy, Lucky Daye, Babyface, Keyon Harrold, Yebba, Robert Glasper, and Saint Harison, and they have supported Adele, Jazmine Sullivan, and Victoria Monét on tour. Steph Strings is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music bridges the gap between the intimate and the expansive. Known for her unique ability to tell stories through her instrument, Steph’s signature sound fuses intricate fingerstyle guitar, percussive rhythms, and earthy, organic textures with lyrics that balance vulnerability with strength.
Emerging from the Australian music scene as a distinct force in contemporary folk and roots, Steph has built a reputation as a captivating live performer. More than just a musician, Steph Strings is a storyteller who reminds audiences of music’s power to heal and connect. As she continues to tour globally and share her craft, she remains grounded in authenticity, emotion, and a passion for making people feel alive.
Fleetmac Wood
Not a tribute, but a party and DJ AV show that reworks the classic-rock sound of the Mac into a spectrum of electronic genres. Remixes of the hits and plenty of deep-cuts ready for the chiffon-filled dance floor. This is a tunnel-visioned, all-night journey. If you don’t like Fleetwood Mac, Stand Back, Stand Back.
Since 2012, DJs Roxanne Roll and Alex Oxley have been hosting their tunnel-visioned event and celebrating the extensive back catalogue of Fleetwood Mac. With a curated and created assortment of remixes and edits they’ve shared their passion with like-minded hedonists at some of the best festivals and clubs in the world. Glastonbury to Robot Heart (Burning Man), from Printworks to Kantine am Berghain.
Flobots with Espiaille & DCI Tour
Flobots are an alternative hip hop band from Denver, CO, blending genres and lyrical landscapes that traverse topics of race, equality, democracy, and social justice. Channeling the politically charged energy of Rage Against the Machine alongside a rap delivery reminiscent of the Roots and Common, their sound is as high-energy as it is thought-provoking.
Best known for their major label debut Fight with Tools and the hit single "Handlebars," Flobots have spent over 15 years as a platinum-selling band using music as a tool to create community, conversation, and positive change.
Rebirth Brass Band with Deltaphonic
For almost 4 decades, the Grammy winning Rebirth Brass Band has been “stunning” fans with a fiery live show and a rich musical catalog. Their trademark sound pays homage to the New Orleans brass band tradition while weaving a tapestry that combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, R&B and the sounds from the streets they grew up on. From their legendary 25+ year run of Tuesday nights at the Maple Leaf to stages all over the world, Rebirth is the soundtrack of the Crescent City and her premier musical ambassador.

Collaboration Beer Fest
This one of a kind beer festival is a favorite amongst beer enthusiasts. Each year brewers across Colorado collaborate on unique beers that they make just for the festival. The ending result is a gathering like no other, ballrooms full of unique one-of-a-kind beers made by friends in the industry. It’s the ultimate showcase of friendship, love of beer, and camaraderie. We get chills every time we talk about Collab Fest!

Family Egg Hunt
Celebrate spring at Four Mile for an egg-citing adventure! Kids can hunt in age-specific scrambles and search for golden eggs hidden throughout the 12 acre Park, enjoy tractor rides, meet the Easter Bunny, and get creative with DIY Easter bonnets in true Victorian fashion. Don’t miss performances by Inspector Magic and Melissa Ivy, or Victorian egg rolling and croquet. Adults can sip cocktails from the Four Mile Bar, savor food truck treats, and shop the Spring Marketplace.

The Strange and Unusual World of Carnivorous Plants
Did you know there are over 700 recognized species of carnivorous plants? Join us as we explore the Venus flytrap and some of its lesser known friends and learn about the intriguing adaptations that help them survive.
Each participant plants carnivorous plants in a miniature bog garden to take home.
Family workshops offer families a hands-on guided classroom experience to learn about the science and enchantment behind the plants in our everyday lives and explore the natural world.

The Inaugural Summit FC Match on March 28, 2026 is Denver Summit FC’s first-ever home game in the National Women’s Soccer League, branded as a special “Kickoff” event at Empower Field at Mile High with single-game tickets on sale to the public.
50th Annual Denver March Powwow
The heritage of Native Americans has been celebrated in Denver every year at the Denver March Powwow, one of the largest events of its kind in the country. The Powwow features more than 1,600 dancers from close to 100 tribes from 38 states and three Canadian provinces. The three-day event in the Denver Coliseum is packed with singing, dancing, storytelling, food, art and more, ensuring a wonderful experience for everyone.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Colorado Ballet proudly presents two-time Tony Award®-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Originally commissioned by the Ballet in 1997, this celebrated production returns for the first time in a decade, with today’s dancers bringing fresh vitality to Wheeldon’s masterful choreography. Shakespeare’s beloved comedy unfolds to Felix Mendelssohn’s iconic score, performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra. This revival features sumptuous new sets and costumes by internationally acclaimed designer Robert Perdziola, whose visionary work has graced leading ballet and opera stages around the world.

Petite Parade (Mardi Gras) at Dairy Block
Join Dairy Block & Handsome Little Devils for our 8th Annual Petite Parade on Sunday, March 1 from 12 - 2PM.
Petite Parade is a Mardi Gras celebration featuring the cutest parade you'll ever see. Anyone (including individuals and businesses/organizations) can participate in the parade. Design your own miniature float and show it off as you walk it down the Dairy Block Alley.
The parade will take place in the heated Dairy Block Alley with festive entertainment provided by Denver’s Handsome Little Devils, including live music, dancing, and Mardi Gras galore. Expect fantastic prizes awarded to participating floats.

The Architecture, Artifacts, and Meaning of Temple Emanuel
Explore Temple Emanuel, a landmark mid-century synagogue and the oldest and largest of its kind in the Rocky Mountain region. With a 130-year history and multiple earlier locations, the congregation settled into its current Hilltop home in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Designed by renowned modernist architect Percival Goodman, the building features Lyons sandstone, dramatic recessed windows, and vibrant stained glass—creating a striking blend of spiritual meaning and modern design.

For our final Volunteer Day of 2025, we’re heading indoors to the welcoming warmth of SAME Café to make hygiene kits for members of their community. It’s a simple, hands-on way to share a little comfort with our neighbors who need it most this season.
After we finish assembling kits, we’ll head to one of our favorite Colfax spots for a casual end-of-year celebration—a chance to thank every volunteer who’s shown up, cleaned up, cheered on, and made a difference throughout the year.
How to get involved:

9News Parade of Lights 2025
Join us on December 6, 2025, as the Downtown Denver Partnership proudly presents the Annual 9NEWS Parade of Lights! This cherished holiday tradition will once again light up the streets of Downtown Denver, bringing together thousands of spectators to celebrate the magic of the season.
Families and friends of all ages will enjoy a spectacular display featuring:
✨ 40+ floats, giant balloons, and colorful cultural displays
🎶 Marching bands and musical performances
🐴 Equestrian units and festive holiday characters
❄️ Special guest appearances from Major Waddles the penguin and, of course, Santa Claus himself!
The Parade is also televised LIVE on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 6pm – 8pm on 9NEWS KUSA-TV, Channel 9.
